This picture was taken by a paraglider pilot. This is a few
years ago; I'm flying my single surface glider here.

More friends leaving
It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to pilots Reggie
and Roberta. What a wonderful couple (btw they have been
married for a zillion years and are still best buddies!)They are
heading for Bolivia after a 2 year stint in Taiwan.
We will miss you both guys.
Roberta received the Retriever of the Year award at
Wings Taiwan's annual meeting. Not sure if she can remember
though ;-)

snakes and flying?
Reggie's holding up a snake he spotted lying dead in the road.
I'm not sure who looks more fierce, the snake or Reggie.

The Ridgeman is on his way.
Rory J Gilpin (aka the real Will Gadd/Ridgeman)
will be leaving us for good soon. He'll be returning to
his home country Canada after staying in the Far East
for almost 14 years. He will be dearly missed by the flying
community of Taiwan, especially his local site Saichia.
Saichia will not be the same again. :-(

Keeping fit
Jehchi and his pretty wife go cycling before flying. This is
a nice scenic area to do just that. They will ride to Sandimen
and back. About a 40 minute ride one way!
I wisk I knew her English name. Have to find out. She
always takes aesome pictures of all of us flying.

about to ride my bike up to launch. This was my first time ever and I plan to do it more often. It took me 37 minutes. I nearly died...
