I got a 2h20 minute flight and a scarf (which I wore)

Then I met a friendly couple from Kaohsiung (I live in Kaohsiung, remember),
Lin and his very, very pretty wife Mickey.
Sorry Lin, you are not in the picture...maybe next time.
They drove my car down from launch, which saved me a lot of trouble.

Bundu bashing for 2 hours got us eventually to the top.

Cleaning a new site. Steven found this beauty. He is hanging on
the rope going down from my car, chppoing off yet another tree ;-)

1650 m asl camping and possible launch.
Clouds come from the south to cover launch as early as 11am.
Launch abandoned. Nice camping site though. Will try again in feature.
Locals reckon it gets more foggier in winter. Let's see.

What do you do when...

the weather looks promising, summer is coming to an end
and you are looking forward to a long flight...when

I put up my glider and get this far. I put in the left wing tipwand...

 

And then I broke the right tipwand...damn. It had cracks in
it and I was postponing replacing them. Good thing it broke
now and not later in the flight. I was kinda relief then!

 

Plan B: setup the Atlas.
