A paper glider folded with an A4 piece of paper. It really
has an exceptional glide. It can fly easily more than 20
meters.

Too long?...nope

Rory and myself drove all the way from Kaohsiung to
Puli (Nantou) with the glider hanging out the back like this.
The glider's nose is resting on the dashboard. This is not the
way to transport a hang glider but the lack of a roof rack and
very short notice forced us to do just that. This is Rory's
company car, I might add.

Landing my training glider

This is the same glider as as below. About to launch.
Note the windsock and telltale (on one of the nosewires)
pointing in the right direction.

This picture was taken by a paraglider pilot. This is a few
years ago; I'm flying my single surface glider here.

More friends leaving

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to pilots Reggie
and Roberta. What a wonderful couple (btw they have been
married for a zillion years and are still best buddies!)They are
heading for Bolivia after a 2 year stint in Taiwan.
We will miss you both guys
.
Roberta received the Retriever of the Year award at
Wings Taiwan's annual meeting. Not sure if she can remember
though ;-)

snakes and flying?

Reggie's holding up a snake he spotted lying dead in the road.
I'm not sure who looks more fierce, the snake or Reggie.
